Palace Hotel, formerly Bikaner House, in Mount Abu, was built in 1893 by Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner as a summer retreat for the Royal Family to escape the desert heat. This elegant residence, set in Rajasthan’s only hill station, was transformed into a heritage hotel in 1962. Now known as Palace Hotel, it retains its regal charm and historical significance, offering guests a luxurious stay amidst the scenic beauty and cool climate of Mount Abu.
